How Landlord Tenant Ontario handles reported errors, outdated information, or unclear guidance.
We want every guide on this site to be accurate, current and clear. Ontario landlord-tenant law and LTB procedure can change, and despite careful research, errors or outdated details can occur.
If you believe a guide contains an error, an outdated detail, or unclear information, please tell us using our Contact page. Include the page URL and a short description of the issue so we can review it quickly.
Reported issues are reviewed against current, publicly available sources such as the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 and official Tribunals Ontario materials. Where a correction is warranted, we update the guide and refresh its "Last reviewed/updated" date.
For substantive corrections that change the meaning or accuracy of a guide, we aim to note the update clearly and promptly rather than silently editing content.
Fill out the form and an independent landlord-tenant lawyer may reach out to offer a free consultation about your situation.
